H. PROJECT

1.  What period does the Middle Ages cover?
The Middle Ages lasts 10 centuries. From the fall of the Roman empire in 476 to the discovery of America in 1492.

2. What general characteristics does it have (according to the teachers comments)?
They lived from agriculture and Livestock, the church was of great importance and were the unicates who knew how to read, and was divided into social classes: privileged, not privileged and exclavs, the Romanesque and the Gotic are very important with the art

3.What is the main difference between ``troubadours and  minstrels´´?

As nouns the difference between troubadour and minstrel is that troubadour is an itinerant composer and performer of songs in medieval europe; a jongleur or travelling minstrel while minstrel is (historical) a medieval traveling entertainer who would sing and recite poetry, often to his own musical accompaniment.

4.Pay attention to these two monuments (a Romantic church and a Gothic cathedral). What do their different heights have in common with the music evolution of those centuries?
The gothic art it comes to the romantic art but there are a lot of changes. the romantic art are more darknes, shaded (sombrio) andgives me a sence of fear, and the gotic art is quite the opposite, is bright, very spacious and very cozy.

5.What do you feel looking at these pictures (taken from the 19th century but directly linked to the Middle Ages)? In your own opinion, what kind of music could accompany these images?

When I seeing these pictures I feel many things but they relax me and make me think.
the music that sould accompanied are the celestial music with the choir off bottom because they stick very much with these photos.

6.Why does heavy metal music love this aesthetic?

It is common to find covers of music albums that are more reminiscent of a comic it is to the Middle Ages, musicians are seen as authentic warriors of legends.
