To do so, visual effects are used. Optical mix: Is when colours are mixed with the help of distance. Paint isn't mixed on the palette and on the painting.

DEFINITION Pointillism is a pictorial technique that consists of representing the application of points that, when viewed from a certain distance, make up well defined figures and landscapes.
